peaceful spring night: the mouse gives itself to the jaws of the dancing cat.

last day of school

late spring full moon. my neighbor’s cough lands on my hand: a single raindrop

quiet moonlit night: the cat, wasting no time, stalks the moon’s reflection

growth

it’s worth celebrating– the tree in the parking strip no longer needs its prop

overheard

unseasonably hot, the language is unfamiliar, but the joy is unmistakable
